what did the lawyer say ?

MR. CONROY"S lawyer, WILLIAM KEAHON, In his closing argument, he said the teenager was innocent, but that even if he were guilty, he did not intend to kill or seriously hurt Mr LUCERO


He told the jury on Monday that none of the witnesses presented by the prosecution testified that saw his client stab, punch or kick anyone that night.

MR. KEAHON repeated one of his central themes throughout the trial. Nearly 40 minutes elapsed from the time a 911 call went through to the time Mr lucero arrived at brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, though the hospital is about three miles from where Mr. Lucero was found. MR> KEAHON, said, Mr LUCERO should not have died from the wound.
