confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

The Defense said, "Was Unintended"

MR. Conroy's lawyer said that even if Mr. Conroy were guilty, he didn't intend to kill Mr. Lucero. None of the witnesses was present when Marcelo Lucero was murdered, and Mr. Conroy wanted just watch when their friends beat a Hispanic person, said the lawyer.

Mr. Keahon, Conroy's lawyer, also said that his client lied in the first confession to protect Mr. Overton. The wound from Mr. Lucero that night was not too deep, and it was not damage in any organs, he explained. It cut an artery and a vein. The lawyer also said that Mr. Lucero spend to much time to arrive to the hospital by the ambulance.
