An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow
confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

What did the lawyer say?

William Keahon, told the the jury on Monday that none of the witnesses presented by the prosecution testified that they saw hid client stab, punch or kick anyone that night.

Mr.Keahon seemed to take this uncertainty into account, as he argued that the wound itself illustrated that Mr. Conroy did not intend to kill or seriously hurt Mr, Lucero.

Mr. Keahon said of the wound, adding, "How is a wound like that intending to cause death? There's no organ there.

Mr. Keahon admitted at one point that some of the things his client said on the stand "were stupid"
