The Latino Community in Queens

QUEENS has many distinct neigborhoods.
Astoria, Corona, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Sunnyside.........


ASTORIA

Known for a large Greek population. This population is accompanied by latin Americans, Asians, Europeans.

CORONA

It has a large latino neigborhood with many ethnic restaurants (Dominican and Ecuatorians)

ELMUHRST

Queens is known for its large latino and Asian population.


JACKSON HEIGHTS

A large South Asian neigborhood with numerous Indian restaurants groceries and shops, including a Bollywood movie theater. The rest of the neigborhood is an incredibly diverse latino community with nationalities all the way from Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argtentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, etc.



Queens food is created by genuine ethnic inhabitants, like spicy food. Real taste of Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and another countries.

One of the largest and most densely populated of New York City's five boroughs, Queens is a true melting pot, reflecting the city's history as a beacon for immigration from all points of the globe. The culinary cultures of Latin America have left a lasting footprint on Queens' restaurant scene.
